What to Expect:
- Consultation: Your session begins with a brief consultation to discuss your preferences, skin sensitivity, and any specific concerns, ensuring a tailored experience.
- Professional Treatment: Our estheticians conduct the laser hair reduction service.
Post-Laser Do's & Don'ts
- Cool it down: Apply a cold compress or wrapped ice pack for 10-15 minutes to reduce redness or swelling.
- Hydrate: Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or 100% aloe vera to soothe the area.
- Protect from the sun: Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily. Avoid direct sun for at least a week to prevent hyperpigmentation.
- Wear loose clothing: This minimizes friction on sensitive skin.
- Avoid heat for 24-48 hours: Skip the gym, saunas, hot showers, and steam rooms. Excessive sweating and heat can inflame the hair follicles.
- No harsh products: Do not use retinoids, glycolic acid, perfume, or harsh exfoliants for about a week.
- Do not scratch or pick: Avoid picking at your skin if a crust develops, as it can lead to scarring or infection.
- Do not shave, wax, or pluck the hairs for two weeks before your session.
- Electrolysis requires multiple sessions because hair grows in different stages. Results and treatment time vary depending on the area, hair density, and individual hair-growth cycle.
